The average Giant Panda Bear weighs 400 lbs. Panda Bears eat bamboo most of the time, but sometimes they eat rodents or other plants that are in season. The Giant Panda Bear is endangered because of the destruction of their natural environment by humans. When this animal was first discovered, the number of pandas was estimated to be 1 million! Now there are only around 1,600 left in the wild. The Panda is one of the most beloved bears in the world.
