South China Tiger Striped
In the 1930's, the population of the South China Tiger fell to less than 100 individuals. Today there are just 40 alive in captivity and at most a few dozen living in the wild. The species faces extinction because of habitat loss, fragmentation, poaching for use in traditional Chinese medicine, and forest policies that have reduced tiger populations across South-East Asia. Global Warming Wear offers several South China Tiger prints to honor this beautiful creature. You can mix and match the tiger stripe print with either the South China Tiger repeat pattern or the Crouching Tiger textile.
